Sponsorship does get the name out there. Most of the Kuala Lumpur buses have this on the back
(no jokes about having a face like the back of a bus please :-))

Wow. Tencent are absolutely massive -- quite the coup. They own the developer of League of Legends and recently purchased the vast majority of the Clash of Clans developer Supercell for over $8 billion.

Just watching the video -- think that might be about the first time I've heard Silva speak English.

Despite our sponsorships I was a bit pigged off to see so many more BVB supporting Chinese in Shenzen the other day.
Not overfussed about rivalling United, Arsenal etc. but Borussia Dortmund ffs.

I take it that you were there, then?
I can only go off the evidence of the TV coverage where the impression was that they far outnumbered us and the volume levels rose when they had dangerous possession in comparison to when we did.

We've only been back to being a big club again in the last five years and we've still not made the CL final yet (the main focus of the Far East in Euro footy) Dortmund won the comp in 1997 and got to the final in 2013. Bandwagoners will have jumped all over that. They'll all be City fans in the next three years though. Then they'll be onto someone else after that, and so on and so on.
