Normally oven chips but just treated us to one of them Phillips fryer thingys so am waiting to unpack it n try

Keep me informed mate, I'm thinking of taking the plunge but not sure whether to go Phillips or Tefal as Mrs Davs has heard good stuff about them both :)

Don't bother with them at the house at all as I can't stand oven chips. We always had the chip pan on the stove before my Dad had his heart attack.

Until all the parts start over heating and cracking, now resides at the back of the cupboard with another cracked lid, so far it has had a new paddle, lid and filter and now the new lid cracked.
Bought a mini fryer from Argos for £15 does two portions of chips and I had forgotten how nice proper deep fried chips were, fuck actifry :)
