Based on the requirements you feel would turn us into Premier League and Champions League winners.

Granted, we've had a lot of shit down the years, but we've had some diamonds who I think would thrive and take this current team to a whole new level.

All too easy to just say, King Colin, put him anywhere, Lee, Summerbee, et al.

Was thinking this the other day and came up with....

Keith Curle, alongside Komps.

Terry Phelan raiding that left flank.

Bernabia helping Silva pull the strings?

Quite fitting today to include Foe I think. Not as good as Yaya but I believe he would have a role in assisting our quest, so he is there for me.

Kinkladze - backup for Silva

Lastly, though he wasn't actually signed by us, Van Buyten. Him and Kompany would be unstoppable I believe. Remember his debut and it was clear he was a different class than those around him.

So those 3 for me.

just going off the three positions you have picked

Dave Watson
Glyn Pardoe or Willie Donachie
Colin Bell would improve the team rather than the above choices Tolmie

Just my opinion

I thought foe was pretty poor - showed lack of strength

Kinky - never really put a shift in , left huge holes , great attacking player but never worked as part of a team. Ali B was better than kinky

i expect some abuse now

I never saw Colin play, mate. I missed him by five years.

I never saw Billy Meredith, either. I missed him by seventy!

It's also a tactical assessment of where posters think we still currently lack.

I happen to think Uwe would shit goals alongside Tevez, too. But it's not a position we need to address.

A fit Paul Lake, and he would be incredible in that midfield.

Morrison, alongside Komps.

Berti instead of Koralov.

Dickov just charge up the power and let him run like a loon for the last 20 mins of games.
