I wouldn’t be so sure it is anything to do with anyone officially connected to City.

There’s no mention of it anywhere from City’s end and the last info on the EDS and Under 18s on the website was that they’re in Portugal.

I went to one a few years back and didn't recognise most of the team. It seemed to be mostly people from the coaching staff (including ex coaching staff) according to someone else at the game. It was for charity though.
