Anyone going tonight a bit of local info ……
Entrance to the ground is very limited and is via Ashby street and parking a bit of a nightmare near the ground , tight little streets in a grubby housing area . Chorley is a nice town in general though , a fair few pubs not far from the train station which is just a steady 10 minutes walk to the ground . If you are travelling from the coppull direction ( M6 jct 27) there is also a number of pubs on the main road ( colliers , plough and black horse) not far from Duke Street where Victory Park is situated. Lastly Nicky Reid’s pub is on the top road that goes to Blackburn and it’s about a good 20 minute walk away from Victory Park . About half of the ground is uncovered and it has been a horrible wet and windy day so far and capacity is around 4K !
