Chris Kamara

Heartbreaking video of Kammy.
Dead straight, honest, to the point, a lovely guy who doesn’t deserve this.

The bloke is a good egg. Positive through and through.

Even Chris would smile at the irony of him not being able to summon the words now, given he made his name for exactly that.

Hopefully they can cure his aparaxia, or make his life as good as it can be.

Heard him on talksport last night talking about his condition, and just watched him on GMB. Very emotional he was just now on
telly.

Inspirational gentleman and it seems his experimental treatment is working for him.

Met him on a walkway as I was going to a night shift at the airport, he’d just been at the swamp for Sky, only had a chat with him for 30 seconds but he was so open and welcomed a bit of football banter with me. Top bloke and so sad to see him now.

On Talksport yesterday, I honestly thought that he didn't sound too bad. His speech wasn't all that slow. Sky should give him his job back. He seems quite a bit better than he was, and said that the experimental treatment he's on appears to be helping him. Good luck to him.

He said that when he’s talking about his condition, he slows down and lets it take off. Something to do with the brain.

When he’s not talking about it, he’s more or less normal.

I can’t really stand Ben Shepherd, but he changed my opinion of him today. I didn’t know he was one of Kammy’s best mate and he’s done a lot with him through his journey. A tearful hug between them live on the telly this morning.

They do podcasts together which any football fan should listen to. You get all the stories about what footballers used to get up to. I would start with the Peter Reid one it's hilarious.
