Chris Moyles...

One of the longest serving breakfast hosts in history says goodbye to Radio 1 - been a great show over the years and will be weird not to have him on air in the mornings, Good luck to whoever has to fill his boots as i doubt they will achieve the success he did, i will be heading to Radio 2 in the mornings.

Cue the ... Good riddance, hes a c*nt, hes a fat prick etc...
You're absolutely right. Good riddance, he is a ****, and he is indeed a fat prick. Not funny, not witty, reliant on being loud or on his attempts to shock to overcome this deficiency, and these days I would even say pretty boring.

Radio 1 is the radio station for idiots.

I know. Great isn't it!

I just love being spoken to like a child by the presenters. I'm awaiting Dave Benson Phillips to come on and liven it up a little. Alas, it just won't happen.

Go on then I'll stick my head above the parapet and admit I liked him and the show.

Admittedly I have found myself gravitating more towards Chris Evans on radio 2 over the past couple of years but thats more to do with the music on radio 1 than anything to do with Moyles.

As for him being too old to connect to their target audience I have relations who do fall into their demographic who love Moyles but cant stand any of the other presenters on the station as they actually try to be cool wheras Moyles wasnt, he knew it and he didnt care.

Had to listen to him at work the other day and thought...he talks too much but seeing as the music they play is rather shite that is a good thing.

Maybe he has outstayed his welcome, maybe he isn't as funny as he thinks he is but he has done well to last so long.

Compared to the vacuous tart that follows him he is a genius of the airwaves though.

Sara Cox is awful

Sara Cox????? Sara fooking Cox?????? She had her moment as a ladette during the 90's.

Fucking hell, she's gash. Radio 1 is doomed.

I'm starting a bring back DLT campaign....
She used to be on the word with terry christian

[quote="The Flash Radio 1's demographic is 18-30 year olds. How they thought Moyles, who is 38, represented the yoof of today is beyond me.[/quote]

Still better than than other "youngster" who thinks he's a twenty year old black man - Tim Westwood (can't stand him)

I've heard quite a few rags say that Moyles is nailed on for the utd job, some of these chaps really know there stuff. I think it could be a bit of a gamble by utd considering his lack of managerial experience. Also got told last night that baconface was holding out for his 20th title before packing it in. Tbh I feel like a bit ashamed of my footballing knowledge sometimes.

Ten games in and they'd be singing hang the DJ down at the swamp

Is it only me that thinks Moyles is a tedious boring **** on Radio X's breakfast show?

I'd rather listen to the wife

Yes he's shite and always was, but then XFM has been awful for a while and only got worse when it became radio X. 6Music is spot on for breakfast and through the day
