How times change, can't stand him on radio now. In fact, I think it's a morning thing - anyone sounding bright and fresh at 7am can fu*k off.
 
As the Top Gear crew are undoubtedly about to find out its not easy to transplant a successful format from one network to another - the station ethos, the amount of freedom the "talent" has and so on changes and so do the dynamics.

Never been a fan of Moyles anyway so can't really judge if he is better or worse - just one of those things you find on the radio and think " no thanks" and retune

Is this a wind up? Johnny Vaughan has to be the worlds worst presenter. He is a complete fucking buffoon, still stuck in 90s lad culture. I can't even hear his voice without throwing up in my mouth.
 
I don't tend to listen to music radio but XFM was my go to station previously. Since the change to RadioX the music is changing. Before it was all guitar bands. But repetitive but you'd turn on and hear Kasabian, Oasis, The Libertines, The Smiths etc. Nowadays you can't listen without hearing Ellie Goulding! they'll be playing Bieber soon.
 
I am genuinely surprised he hasn't had a knock on the door from the plod. There was a program on the TV a few years back with Charlotte Church on it and Mr Moyles. I can't remember exactly how it came up, but she said something alond the lines of "yes I remember you Chris, you tried to shag me when I was 14". This was all pre-saville and although there was a fairly stunned silence from the audience, the grave and sinister implications of that comment didn't stand out like they do post-Saville.

My lawyer advises me to add that I do not allege that he is a paedophile, and there may be many reasons why Charlotte Church said what she said. I merely report the comments as best I can recall them.

I like Charlotte Church. I can't stand Moyles.
 
Seems I'm in the minority on here then liking Moyles. No-one call call him a fat prick anymore either as in 2012 when this thread started, you need to drop the fat bit, pretty svelte these days.

His producer Dave is a City fan and that quite often gets a mention on the breakfast show.
 
I've not listened to one second of "Radio X" since the credible XFM was rebranded. Moyles, Vaughan and Kay are three awful specimins and will ruin the spirit of the station I loved. Radio 6 all the way now.
