Always thought he was a bully and sinfully unfunny. That sort of comment was inappropriate twenty years ago, just as it remains today. Apart from the sexual inappropriateness, imagine the embarrassment for a fifteen year old girl to hear that about something she probably held dear (as most women do) on national radio. An absolutely disgusting and cowardly thing to say.

I agree, but her age made the comment far more egregious.It’s an inappropriate topic even if she well into adulthood and sexually active. Apart from something like the Howard Stern show, I can't think of anything where the DJ ought to have the right to bring it up.

It always pissed me off he came on the Radio after Mark and Lard, the radio went off and the Sony Minidisc went on, how he ended the highest paid DJ on Radio 1 is beyond me tbh, never got him at all, came across as the gobby fat **** he was.No idea how the bloke had a career that lasted longer than the 1990s, never mind into the 2020s!
I’d like to see him sent back to Yorkshire for the rest of his days. That’d be a bad enough existence for anyone to endure.
