Chris Moyles...

havent listened to him for years. i used to listen to him a lot when he did the 4pm-6pm slot because he followed the always excellent mark and lard.

he's an absolute embarassment. he knows absolutely nothing about music as anyone could tell from his disasterous appearance on never mind the buzzcocks many years ago.

his entire schtick seems to be playing up to late 90s lads/pub culture - basically loaded (or one of those other mags) for the radio. which consists of really contrived pub style 'banter' between him and his mates, only without any sense of wit or humour. what the hell was 'comedy' dave all about? i can just imagine what he'd be like in a pub, he'd be the bloke sat at the top of the table, surrounded by arse licking mates, while he holds court with tale after tale of how amazing and funny he is, mistaking being loud and obnoxious with being funny.

as for him being leeds scum, i very clearly remember from his afternoon days that he cared nothing for football but made a conscious effort to start pretending to be a big leeds supporter just to add to his pub/bloke credentials.
 
I really loathe this cretinous oaf and his 'wacky' sycophantic crew of humourless sheep.

In fact, about a year ago i posted a few pertinent but literate comments on a discussion thread on his facebook page (which were probably only read by about 100 people), i obviously hit a raw nerve as the next morning Moyles spent 5 minutes slagging me off live on his radio show to 7 million listeners. Typical of his bullying attitude, he likes dishing it out but throws his toys out of his pram when someone criticizes him.
 
Chris Moyles is a penis. I drove to work one mornig and did not hear a single song because that fat fuck has decided that his unfunny words are more important. 15-20 minutes of utter shite. Haven't listened to Radio 1 since. He wants sticking in room 101. The twat.

Makes Radio 4 worth a listen to,
I hate him with a passion!!

Only worthy of a listen when he plays the Golden hour on a Friday when you might get a spot of New Order or Ian Brown etc......
 
I have to say, I kind of don't want to like him, but he does make me laugh, which at that time in the morning is not easy.

He knows he's a twat, but he kind of plays up to it in a way. If that makes sense. He has a huge ego, but he knows that more than anyone, and it's kind of just an act. Most radio djs are up their own arses without even realising it. But I guess Moyles is just never gonna be everyone's cup of tea.
 
I thought he reached a new low earlier this year when he did that Kilimanjaro thing - there was obviously loads of publicity about it and he was all over tv promoting it which is fair enough, it's for charity etc, but then (coincidentally?) he launched his latest dire attempt at a tv career (The Chris Moyles Quiz Night) the following week thus benefitting from all the free publicity. What an odious, self absorbed, unfunny twunt.
