Christmas dinner preparations

Fried the bacon lardons and chopped chestnuts For the shredded sprouts already and the Jamie Oliver Cauliflower with a broccoli cream sauce is all ready to go in the oven to cook tomorrow, ready for reheating on Wed.
Carrots will be par boiled tomorrow to finish off on the day and the sprouts will be shredded tomorrow ready for frying on Wed.
Boom! Not just me then.

Did my gravy in November , this thread has reminded me to get it out of the freezer.Par boil potatoes and carrots tomorrow, fry lardons and wrap the pigs in their blankets tomorrow evening.

Making sausage rolls later. The wife's dreading the mess from the pastry making, my "mise en place" leaves a little to be desired but using some venison sausage what I done made myself
