Lived in Germany for a few years and visited a few. That was in the 80s. I went around Salzburg and Munich ones when we beat Bayern 3-2. Both were selling exactly the same tat. My verdict is this: drinking ice cold beer sat on an outdoor bench in temperatures hovering around nil is shit. Especially if there's a nice warm pub nearby. Interestingly or not, Hamburg has an English festival of food, beer and culture. Never visited it personally but I imagine they drink shit beer, eat pork pies and punch lumps out of each other at a taxi rank at the end of the night. Or something similar.

We'll be going over to Prague to see the in-laws, so I guess it'll be another trip to the Christmas market and more than likely to Dresden or Nuremberg, which is huge.

It's what I have to do to get some brownie points.
