Christmas movies

Im sure if you are in your mid to late 40's you will remember 'A Box of Delights'.It was shown in the run up to Christmas in 1984,and i found it utterly engrossing and brilliant.I use to run all the way home form school to ensure i didnt miss it!

Anyway......does anyone know where i can now watch this series? is it tooked away on one of the millions of platforms we are now bamboozled with?

Cheers
If I remember, the music had an air of Harry Potter about it?

watched click and collect, expecting it to be really sh*t ... but was actually 'ok' , few funny scenes.

The box of delights starring Patrick Troughton and Robert Stephens is on eBay for £4 dvd. Great memories as a kid and a decent Christmas serial.
Ditto pal - used to love that - I’m guessing it wouldn’t be quite the same watching it back now. A bit like when they first started repeating Starsky & Hutch …. was really excited but then fairly quickly realised it wasn’t quite as good as I remember it being!

Anyway, all the best for Christmas to you and yours mate.

Watched Last Christmas last night. Talk about a plot twist. Call me naive, but I honestly didn’t see that coming. Outrageous stuff for a feel-good Christmas film!

Die Hard
Elf
Home Alone 1 and 2
The Nightmare Before Christmas
Edward Scissorhands
Scrooged

These are what we usually watch around this time of year.

Got the traditional Christmas Carol lined up on youtube the 1951 Alistair Simms one. Pint of Tetleys and a festive chips gravy and cheese and onion pie on the go.

Might even sneak in a baileys on ice before the night is through ;)
