Well Christmas started by covering up an affair that got way of hand so I guess tenuously it counts.

Scrooge, musical with Albert Finney. Truly wonderful and if you haven't watched it, give it a go. It leaves all others, even great ones, in it's dust. And if you don't agree, you are literally fucking mental.

It's a very good film/musical but my favourite version is the Patrick Stewart 1999 one. It's by some way the most accurate in relation to the book.

Different genre. But for a happy, moving and funny, with wonderful songs film, it wins hands down. Well it does for me.
