Cig fine in Manchester

Has anyone experienced, or know of someone, getting a fixed penalty fine for throwing a cig on the street in Manchester city centre?

You might as well get some local authority money back by using this.....

It's a fine for littering so same fee for dropping a vape.

No one I know has had a fine for dropping litter, thought it was just a threat to discourage people from doing it. I don’t smoke but I don’t think there are many places to stub out a cigarette. I suppose you can stand on it and take it home.
There must be better things to fine people for in Piccadilly
