Nope, but there are more important things in life to worry about .Oh does the foreskin grow back if the person decides it ain't for them in adult life?

As a baby having a circumcision is virtually painless as opposed to having it done as an adult. If a religion wishes to have it done I see no more reason to make it illegal than having kids ears pierced. It might not be to my taste
Circumcision is widely practised for religious health and comfort reasons.Virtually painless - oh really?
You'll be telling us next that ritual slaughter is painless.
And you presumably then support FGM on religious grounds.
You want to think things through a bit more.
I think you will find that the vast and overwhelming majority of those circumcised do not regard themselves as being mutilated. But calling it that gives you a nice warm cuddly feeling that you are doing good for babies.Yes, heaven forbid making it a criminal act to mutilate a baby.
If you come from a community where it is the norm to have it done as a child and the law forces you to wait untill you are older when it is significantly more painful and more likely to lead to complications your parents are demonstrating care for you by having it done as a child and the law is abusing you by forcing you to wait.Let the child decide for itself when it's grown up. If it he wants it then, fine. Otherwise it's abuse.

Thank you, your papalness. What is your excuse for this largely unnecessary piece of religious barbarism then?...
