Last year was just because the shirt was contracted to come out and the season ran over.

The 15th May 2005 we stroll out to play Middlesborough in a vital game for European qualification in a new strip that was bloody horrible. Get a penalty in the 2nd minute of extra time when the score was 1-1, and Mark Schwarzer saves Fowler's kick.

Yeah, not sure what the sponsors names being in gold has to do with the team being champions. Bit of a weird move?
