What’s the correct shade of blue? It’s different almost every season.
The shade of blue we wore with Colin Bell in 67/68 (arguably the most classic City shirt) is different than almost every shirt we’ve worn over the last 40 years for example. You’d think you’d know this considering your attitude towards the kits is that of an old man.
Puma can’t make the same generic City kit every season just to please someone who will never buy them. They need to sell hundreds of thousands of these kits every year and that means mixing things up.
We’d all love the 09/10 or 67/68 kit each season but the reality is that this just doesn’t make sense in the modern world where sales need to be made.
I was once told by someone at Umbro that the 10/11 shirt was the worst selling home shirt of their last contact with us by far. The reason was because it was too similar to the 09/10 shirt and this is what led to the 11/12 and 12/13 shirts having more unique designs.
Oh ok
You must have missed my last sentence then.
