City’s New Kits - 2021/22

Since I started supporting them in the 70s I have used City or Man City depending on where I am. If someone asks I don't say Manchester City. Sometimes when I say City I am asked Manchester? Which they guess from the accent.

Bit arrogant to think everyone presumes City is always us.

Not arrogant

Growing up in the 70s we mostly stayed in Manchester and holidays were mostly in this country or Wales

And it was always City

It’s what I was brought up with nothing being arrogant

If I am anywhere and asked my team I always say City

If when abroad and asked where you from I answer Manchester

Most then ask blue or red

I agree with this, I cringe every time I hear Man City.

The only time I really see it is people from other cities with a “City” team - Leicester, Cardiff etc.

I don’t think I’ve ever uttered the words “Man City” when asked who I support.

It’s “City” and everyone knows who you mean, Leicester is “Leicester”, Cardiff is “Cardiff”, Stoke is “Stoke”.
