I agree. but at least we'll have white shorts on so swings and roundabouts.

Last game of the 2003/04 season against Everton we wore the new home kit.Don’t remember the last time we wore the new kit before the end of the season
The season after we wore the new away kit in the last home game against Middlesbrough for some reason.
I don’t remember any after that, but I might be wrong.

19/20 as well. We wore the cracked glass shirt vs Watford IIRC.End of the 17/18 season. Wore the 18/19 home shirt against Brighton, Yaya's last game.

They do it so that all of the photographs of the players (hopefully winning and lifting the trophy) will last throughout next season and make the perfect POS branding for selling kits.
It's also the best PR a new kit can receive in addition to big players joining.

I know someone who works in JD Sports and they had the new kit delivered this weekend and will be putting it on sale on Thursday 19th.But not launched/for sale?
