Always sells poorly.

Completely agree. We could even pair it with sky blue shorts & white socks to keep it looking fresh.

With a black and red sash? That sounds awful. If you change the sash to sky/maroon like that Cityzens jersey from a few years back then sure.

"Red and black always sells poorly" is one of the biggest myths on here. Pops up every time there's a conversation about our most iconic away kit colours. Look at the crowds any season we've had a red and black away kit and the stands are full of them. You see them everywhere at games.

City themselves said that it was a poor seller after we last had one in 2011-12 and it’s probably the reason we haven’t had one since.
