I’m a 41 year old grown man so I don’t buy kits anymore and I shouldn’t really care…but that is bobbins. What’s all this 0161 crap? As if Mancunians use the dialling code as part of their identity? No doubt the word ‘iconic’ will be used in the guff that surrounds the launch (is there a more overused word at the moment?). I think puma kits have been a bit let down but this is especially shit.

The original has a Square Patch at the back and looked just as ridiculous without a number etc (which in those days just wasn’t done)
 
Kit designers are on a hiding to nothing. Most on here would want a repeat yearly of the plain blue/white round neck , but by far the biggest buyers (kids/teenagers) want something very different. And as its ultimately down to puma to get some of their hefty investment back they try to come up with different ideas.

Best example is this current lightning kit. Hated by most on here, but one of our best ever sellers. The kids love it.

Its the kids that buy em!

I blame the parents. Raising spawn that have no idea of good taste. Three or four years of national service would soon whip them into shape.
