And seriously folks on here,if a font and numbers on a shirt wind you up, you should take a look inward at yourself, it’s for the kids, not fat balding mid life crisis bores

I’d list Joy Division, New Order, The Smiths and The Stone Roses as more pioneering than Oasis.

Always saw them as being a band from Manchester as opposed to a Manchester band.

Based on what? Whenever I think "Manchester City", pink and dark blue are not the colours that spring to mind. Sky Blue, White, Navy Blue, Maroon are what come to mind.
