Would be nice if the theme is a Colin Bell tribute, given that was 18 months ago when they'd be planning these kits. Makes sense with the red and black away too.

Yes there is a paper crown on display in the National Football Museum, made by a City fan called David Brammer, who ran on the pitch and handed to Colin Bell before a game. The inside shirt detailing is almost certainly a reference to that

Surprised about the mixed reception on the centred badge, I think the kit is our best home since 17/18.

Anyone know if the lettering on the back will be maroon or white? I presume Prem games still have to be white(?) but isn't cup lettering usually different?

If its a Colin Bell tribute I think the Cup printing is going to be a white font very similar to the famous 70s kit.
