Does anybody know who i should be writing to about this incident? Also an email address would be gratefully recieved also.

If i have to go on a 1 man mission to oust these people then i will.

Peter Fletcher seems to be the "ban master" at home.

I understand where your coming from Ricster and some stuff is idiotic and not neccessary....but where do we draw the line....the Tevez song about his new face when he was at rags didnt offend some people but did others.

What will happen in the end is that we will become sanitised and sterile in the song department.

Songs about O'shea being gay were taken in good humour by himself (derby day at ragsville last season) but offend others....so should they be banned.

All we will be left with bluemoon and best team in the land chants.

Does Peter Fletcher (Stadium and Safety Manager) still work at City? If he cant help you im sure he can point you in the right direction.

Ricster, I will try and find out who your complaint should be sent to at the Open Day this afternoon, if I cant (dont know what duty I am on yet!), I will definately find out on Saturday when i will be back working in East Stand. Totally agree with your stance on this, if it was another teams fans we would all be going ballistic, so why should we accept it off our own.

I understand what your saying. But last night i had enough. The M chanting i have put up with, but the racial thing has really got my back up. Its about time we all stamp out the M chants, the racial abuse, etc.

There are fans on here that complain about other clubs and what they do, whether it be Rangers or Celtic with sectarian songs, or United with Hillsborough songs. We need to get ourselves sorted out before we criticise others.

The guy infront of me on row O last night was offering me to a square go and was aggresive to me when i asked him not to sing it. Confrontation doesn't bother me as i deal with it at work each day.

ok as long as you have thought it through, i think away games are worse because there is more drinking involved, the only time i hear the m at home is just before and on derby day, however will city be labelled the big brother club if they have undercover stewards in the crowd, look at the ones that were kicking off because they couldn t smoke in the toilets

Just to point out something fans may be aware of but maybe not, making racist chants is an arrestable offence not just ejection - there is no grey area and no warning givenon this, we will immediately inform the police. This is part of of the ground regulations, with regards to swearing obviously in the heat of the moment this can happen and may be overlooked however consistant bad language will result in ejection and further action may be taken by the club. Sorry to put my stewards head on here but just in case anybody was unsure thought I would clarify. ;)

If I complained about every offensive thing I heard at MCFC over the many years I've been going I'd be dead of stress and heart failure.

Too many individuals attend football matches and drink added means this will never stop unless the police arrest people for it.

Is it illegal or just morally unacceptable?

Until it is illegal what can you REALLY do? So campaign to make those chants illegal like racist chanting is.

You will end up having fights every week.
