Just to point out something fans may be aware of but maybe not, making racist chants is an arrestable offence not just ejection - there is no grey area and no warning givenon this, we will immediately inform the police. This is part of of the ground regulations, with regards to swearing obviously in the heat of the moment this can happen and may be overlooked however consistant bad language will result in ejection and further action may be taken by the club. Sorry to put my stewards head on here but just in case anybody was unsure thought I would clarify. ;)

Trigger, where does calling Roy Keane a pikey sit in this PC world of ours ?

Does Peter Fletcher (Stadium and Safety Manager) still work at City? If he cant help you im sure he can point you in the right direction.

You could bring it up at points of blue as well.

Yes Peter Fletcher is still the Stadium safety Manager.

Ricster, I will try and find out who your complaint should be sent to at the Open Day this afternoon, if I cant (dont know what duty I am on yet!), I will definately find out on Saturday when i will be back working in East Stand. Totally agree with your stance on this, if it was another teams fans we would all be going ballistic, so why should we accept it off our own.

Thanks Trigger, thats appreciated.

I agree, racist comments are against the law (as I think are homophobic comments), constant swearing is also not allowed but where do the M*****h chants fit in with the law?

They're dickheads the lot of them. We are talking about hoping not to get any plastic fans in but I would happily set a ticket to a plastic than one of them numpties, atleast the plastic would be there to hope we win and not disrespect the club and its players.
Cunts

i completely agree with you ricster and also with citytillidie but sometimes they take it too far and it does ruin many fans days.

Playing devils advocate is singing a song about not giving in to a terrorist organisation, that bombed Manchester, that offensive! I am not saying it is right but as a previous poster said aren't homophobic songs etc as bad??

I am sure if somebody complained it would have to be dealt with,it is tricky and sometimes inconsistant, for example we were told to report to police any fan shouting "yid" to Spurs fans yet they sing "yid army".

However it is difficult to throw a couple of hundred out for singing M****h songs, likewise it is against ground regulations to stand yet virtually (and unrealistic) to eject all those that do.
