Loved the bit when Haaland got bored and became the 3rd centre back in the build up to stat pad his passing stats!
I'd like to see them prove it!I’m sure UEFA will hold an investigation and charge both clubs.
It reminded me of the infamous…..(if you are old enough you will rember it)
The Disgrace of Gjon was a 1982 FIFA World Cup football match played between West Germany and Austria at the El Molinón stadium in Gijon,Spain, on 25 June 1982. The match was the sixth and last game of the first-round Group 2, with the fifth game having concluded the previous day.
Due to the tiebreaker rules in the group stage, a West German win by one or two goals would ensure that both Austria and West Germany advanced to the next round. West Germany scored the only goal in the first 10 minutes of the match, which progressively deteriorated to a virtual standstill in the second half.
Despite widespread condemnation and a formal complaint lodged by Algeria – who were consequently eliminated – FIFA ruled that neither team had broken any rules.
Just like the matches yesterday thenBoth knew exactly what was needed because Algeria had already played their final group game. Rules were changed after that tournament so that final group games happen simultaneously to prevent that happening again.
Slip on's - even easier.Velcro is the way to go ; )
They had a 3 goal cushion on Zagreb.I hate to sound think (though I often do) but why would Brugge stop trying to score again? I don't see how it would have been a disadvantage for them even if they'd conceded another goal themselves while trying?
Thanks for that, so really any perceived 'naughtiness' was aimed at City not going for more goals then? They had a 3 goal cushion on Zagreb.
Zagreb were winning 2-1, but Milan were down to 10 men. Guess it was an educated gamble.
Possibly, but given the scarring from the Feyenoord game, it didn’t seem a surprise to me that City “minimised risk” when not being pressed anymore. Thanks for that, so really any perceived 'naughtiness' was aimed at City not going for more goals then?
Other than providing a bit more to cheer for those of us who bothered to stay until the end.Possibly, but given the scarring from the Feyenoord game, it didn’t seem a surprise to me that City “minimised risk” when not being pressed anymore.
There was no incentive for us to score more either.
Thank you sir Joseph Barton! Not seen anything as blatant since QPR gave us the league in 2012.
Which they were perfectly entitled to do.It’s no different to the dippers fielding a youth team and throwing their game against PSV.
ABIACIt was Andy Burnhams fault !
10 minutes according to tv.How many passes in the 5 minute period of keep ball!
ABIAFSC if being pedantic and they are the worse kind of cunts.ABIAC
I think the bench might have known but doubt they'd had time to tell the players.Ifs, buts and maybes. Next thing will be QPR knowing they were staying up when Aguero scored.
QPR fans were cheering and jumping around, i think they knew ? (The players that is)I think the bench might have known but doubt they'd had time to tell the players.
There's a bit of video showing our third goal taken from the south east corner. You can see the QPR bench celebrating but it's only a few seconds before 93:20 so I don't think all the QPR players knew they were safe. But it's more boiled rag piss if they did know so it's win-win for me.QPR fans were cheering and jumping around, i think they knew ? (The players that is)
