Sounds like somebody's a little bit p!ssed of that we won't match their inflated valuation... makes you laugh really, just cos we have money they think we should pay extortionate prices without question!

It´s a question about "figura"...If you got it you must flaunt it ;)

we have blown it all on heated seats and top of the range flymos...

Hope the trend that the Hughes regime set of paying whatever it takes is now well and truly over and we won't get any more mugs taking the piss out of us.

Quite right. I don't think some fans have fully internalised the fact that the 'pay whatever it takes' approach will never create a truly successful team.

With a quote like that the guy is asking to be sued. It's potentially libellous to claim a business is bankrupt when it isn't. Damaging to MCFC's reputation. I hope the club's officials are consulting mi learned friends this morning.

You know, this is an excellent point.

I would absolutely love the club to make a stand on this. It would show how serious we are and that we cannot, and will not, be messed about by anyone. It would certainly send a very powerful message.

Would be more effective than Cookie's "they bottled it" gaffe (even though he was right)!

On the contrary, I think it would be madness (and a sign of weakness) to sue him.

It is much more sensible to ignore such drivel.

Not sure it's a sign of weakness. Personally, I think a 'line in the sand' does us no harm whatsoever.
