City Around the World

As long as someone teaches them it's a barm I'm ok with it all.
Khaldoon has spoken, but the heretics continue with their erroneous ideology. Time for Pep to instigate a Catalan Inquisition. Bags being Tomàs de Torquemada! We need to protect our far-flung local fans! Altogether now, CHIPS ON A MUFFIN. 'N A MUFFIN WI' YER CHIPS! Don't people realise both Zinky and Gundog had a chip muffin before coming on last Sunday!

Sadly you can only see this ending in full Schism. In a hundred years time little Jorge-Erling from Montevideo will look at his father in confusion and say 'Dad I know we all love and follow the one true City, but why do our brothers and sisters in the Singapore Branch and beyond call it a muffin?" and his dad will look at him with sad eyes and do his best to explain...

But then he will also explain that there is no need for Jorge to worry about this because he firmly believes that should the Rags ever look in danger of achieving top 4 again, as some have predicted might happen if we don't behave ourselves, then all City fans will cast their minor differences aside and come together as one to face down the evil of the swamp.

It's one big family that now has spread its wings around the world and its fucking brilliant
Don’t know if anyone else saw the elegant Japanese lady, she looked like a grandmother, in glorious traditional dress at the ground last Sunday, having the time of her life at West reception with a flag? She looked like she had flown in for the game. A former Man Uni student who fell in love with the club years ago or converted in Japan? I wish I knew her story. Either way it was a beautiful sight. As the saying goes, some are born here, some are drawn here, all call it home!

Didn’t somebody mention the Georgia city fans when Kinky was in his pomp?

I remember when Will Greenwood was City ambassador he went to meet and film the Indonesian Blues. I've never forgotten them. Absolutely nuts for it, going in twos and threes on tiny scooters to watch the game in their City shirts. I hope they enjoyed this one.

Over in China we have fans who have stuck since SunJihai came and went, and tours to those parts. It's great to connect. Met a few recent adoptees of City in Kathmandu. Hope we keep the classy and dedicated. Turncoats not welcome
Don't forget that most of the Chinese City fans are actually local boys and girls, they all used to go in Sun Jihai Dad's chippy on Moston Lane !!!
