Especially about being bankrolled by the sugar daddies from Littlewoods....If I did this is refuse to answer any questions about things before 2008 when we were founded.
I'd love to see a scouser go on it and know fuck all about anything before the 70s.

What was your specialised subject?
It was in the early days when subjects were very broad. I did the geography of Canada. In later series subjects were narrowed down to such as French literature 1760 to 1800. I consoled myself with being only one point behind the eventual series winner at the halfway stage but I had a mare in the general knowledge round which I'd thought was my stronger suit.

Yes I am and I was one of the earliest members. Congrats on winning the title. Nobody does that without deserving it.

Thanks. It was hard work doing all the swotting, but the questions in the Final were quite kind to me.
