Thanks for the graphic TLWYS. I was being sarcastic coz everyone knows that we have been ruining football since 2008 and had no 'istry before that :-)
 
For me the '72 to '97 badge is the one that I always think of as being the iconic one. When the eagle badge was introduced, I was not that keen on it but have grown toward it. The new badge is really good and I hope that it's introduction co-incides with what Pep is going to add to the club.
 
That is one ugly fecking stadium 1.618034. It really does look like some kid has done a Blue Peter special..........with bent coat hangers and a corn flake packet.
 
The beswick buzzard was shite and good riddance, but it was a symbol of the club so I respectfully say farewell old bird you was with us from some of the bad times and some of the good.
 
Being born in 93' means its my badge, so I could never hate it. I can see why its been changed as it never really made sense but then again; City don't make sense most of the time! To be honest I don't like the new one that much due to its similarities with the rest of the 'City Group'. However, i'm sure that it'll grow on me.

If ever we win 3 Champions Leagues (getting a bit ahead of myself, i'd be thrilled with 1!), i'd like to see a reference back to this badge with the stars and the bird.
 
I liked eagle badge as well, as it is 'my badge' or the badge they had when I started following.

I never got the stars though. Although it looked nice. That was the only real gaff there should not have been included and would have still looked nice.

Anyway the new badge is miles better. Looks great. All the little details are spot on imo and kind of pops.
 
Only badge I have really ever known. MY whole time as a football mad person the current crest was the one i knew. Having said that my Dad always hated it and so did all my older family members and every old grumpy git on here of which there are many ;)
Anyway I think the new badge looks brilliant and takes us back to where many believe we should be anyway

Yup, I feel the same. I've always thought it looked a bit shit but my first ever match was the first season they introduced this badge so I'm going to have some sentimental attachment to it.

Got a phone call of Danny Wilson once about it (and a few other things I'd mentioned), he said he didn't see the badge changing anytime soon (that was in about 2010). lets hope we can have a club badge that's stays for good and not change it every now and then. really we should not have to change the old badge but again peter swales fucked up with the copy rights and give it away for free
