Lest anyone forget, bookies' odds are not a complete representation of who the bookies think are most likely to win it. They are also a representation of where people have been placing bets, and for obvious reasons it's more common to bet on long odds than short. It's probably simply a case of lots of people shoving money on Chelsea and Liverpool because they'd been on attractive odds earlier on. Of course, it's also a reflection of each club's position in the transfer market, so expect our odds to shorten again when we finally sign a CB.

Looking at oddschecker across all the betting sites we are effectively joint favourites with Chelsea with a typical price of about 7/4. United are 3rd favourite with a typical price at 5s and Liverpool are nowhere near with any bookie and come in at 9s.
