City Book

Not read it for a few years, but can really recommend "Blue Moon: Down Among The Dead Men With Manchester City" by Mark Hodkinson. It is a fly on the wall book of the promotion season - last pages are peoples real comments and reactions to the Wembley game, and actually brings a tear to the eye. Very good book.

Try Colin Shindler's " Fathers, Sons & Football " ISBN 0-7472-3218-0
It's the story of three generations of the Summerbees.

Gary James' new book's out now, "Big Book of City". Got a copy and am saving it for the flight to Dubai, but it looks like a good toilet book in that it's just a collection of different and varied things. Such as how Maine Road got it's name is only a couple of pages long. So you can read a different bit each 'trip'.

Also reading the Bert Trautmann book, that's a belting read.
