City bus scheme for home games - bus tracking (P91)

Bee buses charge £3.60 per day unlimited travel and £5 for any bus(same as other companies) around greater Manchester. I looked up their Ts&Cs and they said £5 any bus tickets aren't allowed, but they don't say you cannot use their own £3.60 Bee network day passes. Has anyone tried using a Bee network day pass?

What’s this £3.60 ticket? I can only see £5 tickets for unlimited bus travel.

What did he have to say?
He said he had the wrong timetable and had an 8pm ko time, they never sent a second bus, he got to chadderton and someone must’ve been early and told him he phoned the office and basically just waited until the correct time for the last to stops! He also left early by 5 mins returning, this needs sorting 25 mins isn’t long enough for some anyway, chatting to two girls last night they left at 80 mins so not to miss the bus as at the Newcastle game apparently he fucked off after 15 mins leaving loads stranded.

Macc bus on time; driver knew the way without help :-). Used the ticket machine & issued tickets. Also swiped the senior cards which will help monitor numbers.
Left the ground 20 minutes after final whistle (which the ref blew about 10.13) & I was in my house by 11.30

Pretty good & very relaxing

Bee charge £3.60 for a day pass on any of their buses. It saves 40p on return travel. Id need 2 buses to get to Etihad from my house. If they don't accept their own day savers on their match buses it will cost me £9.60 for a 16 mile round trip and that's expensive.

Got the 13 for the first time tonight and it was great (got on at broadway at which point the driver had realised he had been given wrong times) back home in bed an hour after full time. although I also had it leaving after 20 but that’s plenty enough for me
I’m looking at using it for the Luton game as my normal lift is away on holiday. Was there plenty of room on board when he picked up at Broadway

I don’t see that £3.60 advertised anywhere. There are certain special prices on some services but I’ve never had one near me. If you’re only travelling within GM then it’s been unlimited buses for a fiver for a while via System One.

Doesn’t sound like it was a good night for tfgm. God knows what eventually happened to the Boothstown bus after the match. It had apparently lost power completely and the driver was waiting on a call from the engineer to tell him how long he’d be. I bailed at that point and got an Uber from Gt Ancoats St back to the car and was having a brew in Astley at 11.15 albeit twenty quid poorer. Hope everyone got sorted, it’s a real shame because numbers were increasing and it just happened to be an 8.15 ko that it went tits up on.

May not be advertised but ask the Bee bus driver for a day pass and it's £3.60. Just rang Bee and asked if they allow the £3.60 day saver on their match buses and they don't. If i caught the bus from my house to Stalybridge station and then got on the match bus from there it'll cost me £9.60. I may as well catch the 216 to Alan Turing way on the £3.60 day pass and save £6.

And a Bee bus day pass will probably save plenty of others money too.

Thanks for that, it’s worth knowing for people even if it’s only 40p. I always need 2 buses so just get the £5 one via the Bee app and it also gives flexibility as to which route I take.

I have the same problem with the Matchday buses, I’m two miles away from the pickup point so it would cost me £11.60 minimum. I might as well go for the three buses it takes for a fiver.
