MC8 bang on time today - first time. Unfortunately a road closure in Poynton meant a different route which delayed us. But all good & app worked (although it’s a bit confusing - not the easiest to use !!)

I am glad it was on time for you! Yes I actually picked up on the road closure this morning, but when I tracked I could see it had passed through the area. Unfortunately, we don’t get informed about roadworks outside of Greater Manchester which is frustrating for this service as it starts outside of GM. This is something we are looking into so we can make changes where necessary to ensure a smoother journey for you all. Thank you for the app feedback too, I will report that back.

Got to stop going down Mount Road in Gorton mate. It’s slow without roadworks and even worse with. Not sure why they are persisting with it.

Thanks for this info, we’ll be making some changes at the end of the season so we will take this into consideration

I got the match bus 3 from Stalybridge as I usually do, it was a single decker this time, run by Go Mcr, it has been Tyrers for most of the season with some nice double deckers, the busiest matches have been Liverpool and utd, the single deckers wouldn’t be big enough to cope for those games, I only just got a seat today and some people were stood up on the way back, as some supporters only got the return bus. Double deckers needed next time as this wasn’t a busy match.

Hello, thanks for getting in touch. Go North West are now covering weekend services. We monitor passenger loadings constantly and will continue to do so to make sure supporters can access the buses going forward

@ Matchdaybus. I have caught the 11x service I think 6 times now from the start at Horwich. For each of these matches, we have driven to Tyldersley then sat there for 15 minutes waiting for the departure time. From there, the bus has run to time and arrived at the Etihad 30 mins before KO

maybe the bus can leave 10 minutes later from Horwich ?

@matchdaybus

MC7 was full for Crystal Palace game. It's a little uncomfortable to sit on the back seat of the new buses for an hour with the engine vibration. That was not an issue on the Swan coaches. Does the operator have a more comfortable bus as the journey is up to 75 minutes? Thank you. Still a service I enjoy, I just won't sit on the back seat next time.

does Pele know about this

@matchdaybus Do you know if there are plans to extend the Matchday Bus Scheme to other areas? A question was raised on our supporters club forum the other day to see if there would be demand for Warrington and the surrounding areas.

Hello, thanks for reaching out. We will assess the timings of this service for you when we consider changes for next season. Thanks for your suggestions and continued support.
