errrrrr he's jewish

So is Gai Assulin

so's quite a fair portion of citys fanbase.
As well as numerous businessmen the UAE government has high-level dealings with. Sol Kerzner for one (owner and developer of Atlantis, The Palm in Dubai, among many other things).

They need to be forward thinking as the owners want to take the club to places football hasn't been before. In this respect I don't think Bernstein would be the right man. And it's the reason why Cook, despite his gaff prone nature was considered to be doing an excellent job. he has built a fantastic team that exudes excellence in almost all of its output.

CitySquare, premiere Umbro/EA partners, state of the art performance analysis, Family Stand, Sierra Leone, CiTC, CSR, NextGen, Vieiras role (everything from training with the academy to launching the Campus) - we've pushed boundaries during Cooks tenure. I can't quite imagine these kind of initiatives under Bernstein, as high a regard as I hold him in.

So whoever is the next CEO for me needs to have a real hunger to try new things. I think that's why this guy from Tesco is being bandied about - a City fan yes, but young and not a "football guy". I think Mansour and Khaldoon see that trait as an advantage... and rightly so given the rather old boys club feel of football these days. So many idiots and dinosaurs around. How often do you hear about clubs mimicking ideas the NFL had 10 years ago? From the fan experience and commercialisation to training techniques and post match analysis.

I would offer the job to David Dein if it becomes available .

Extensive knowledge , connections , business acumen and football awareness .

although i wouldnt like to see cookie out of a job, (his good work far outweighs his dropped bollocks), id like to see bernstein return. cant see it though tbh whether cook keeps his job or not.

Will always appreciate the work Bernie put into his job when he was here, but there's no room for sentiment in football and I doubt that Sheikh Mansour or Dr Khaldoon Al Mubarek will see him as the primary candidate for the position should Garry be relieved of his duties.

Agent Bernstein is, amongst other interests, in prime position as Chairman of the FA & Wembley Stadium Ltd, which promises to be our second home in the foreseeable future.

As chairman of the FA he has already started to tackle his priorities of reducing dissent and increasing respect in English football. Despite whinges from certain people about the length of player and manager bans this was something that needed to be addressed as discipline was getting worse and the measures previously in place were having little effect. Bernstein has shown that rules are there to be adhered to and that they are there for all, not for all except 3% of the richest of the rich and transgressions of the rules will have consequences at all levels.

He has not been as successful trying to get closer ties with FIFA thus far, particularly during the World Cup voting farce. Some say he was naive but I'd prefer to say straight laced, showing his passion for what England should stand for and showed that he will not kowtow to Blatter or form shady political dealings with others in this allegedly corrupt organisation.

So no, I wouldn't want him back at City in any capacity, he's far too valuable to us on a natiomal and global scale.
