Played with Smally at school, good lad and a top player. Brilliant midfielder for England schoolboys and destined for great things.I played football with Colin Small at the very end of our ‘careers’
Typical City, Tony Book played him at right back for the reserves and destroyed his confidence, shipped out to Rochdale and it went downhill from there. Fine margins.
