why's it taken so long?
We're not actually the defendants here.
We also asked FIFA before doing the transfer
AND were cleared by FIFA when the Argentinean club complained.
Yes we had representation at the case but that was to make sure FIFA/UEFA didn't stitch us up more than anything else.
These facts don't stop James 'Rag' Drucker getting exited at the Telegraph though.
Supposedly no.Are you sure we're not the defendants?
CAS can order FIFA to revisit the transfer approval decision if they think FIFA have broken their own rules. CAS can't give us a transfer ban, that's the prerogative of FIFA and they have no grounds to, as we completed the transfer with their knowledge and approval.Does anybody know if CAS could give us a transfer ban or would it have to be FIFA. Be strange for FIFA to ban us having approved the transfer.

Or perhaps FIFA have followed their rules to the letter and Velez will be told to piss off. That's what I was thinking, would be really strange for FIFA to hand out any punishment to city, perhaps a change of rules affecting future transfers will be the outcome.
