You're right it is a red herring. As stated earlier I'd rather have Crouch at City than Keane. I think we have got enough pace up front but lack height for set pieces etc. Crouch gives us the height and is also a hold up player and can score goals in his own right.

Plus he lays off those daft fucking cart wheels when celebrating - I can't stand the sight of them - enough said.
