Does anyone know if this sad prick has actually managed to sell any of these "investment" plots to any delusional rags or has he fell flat on his silly arse?

Yes! I was in the Buxton in Droylsden a few weeks back before a game and got talking to a Rag about this. He stated that he had bought a plot and was hoping to make a profit by selling to CITY. "DELUDED THE LOT OF THEM"

Re: City CPO going to Public Enquiry

This Rag just wants a little bit of publicity of the negative kind - get MCFC in the middle of a 'trillionaire foreign capitalist wants to oust local businesses' headline!

When the CPO kicks in they should shave 20% of the original offer they made to the sad git!

Do they really need a CPO? Could they not have just done the honourable thing and approached us with a fair offer?

The CPO will be for the "market value" of the land, so by it's very definition a fair offer. City will have offered, at least, the market valuation at this stage and more than likely a amount higher than the market value in order to try and speed this process through. So, not so much City not approaching with a fair offer, and more this greedy rag trying to screw as much money out of City as possible.

It's purely business... the rag may have gone about things the wrong way (media etc.) and we City fans may not like it ...... but its business and that's how some companies operate, whereas other companies may take a pragmatic view of an employee refusing to work but are still prepared to welcome him back to increase his stock value to enable them to sell the employee in the near future at a higher price.... which again is just business ...... we may have an emotional connection to both issues, but take City out of both scenarios and it becomes "just business".

Re: City CPO going to Public Enquiry

Why don't all us buy the plots he is selling and then sell on to city for £1 profit... Would surely annoy the rag fecker!!

If you take City out of it, I'm quite sure he wouldn't be taking this stance.

I always thought that but apparently they had to build round it for geological purposes. It was discussed on here a few weeks ago.

Can this sad **** actually stop the development or is he just pissing in the wind?

cheers fella, bit a pissed off now as i always used to laugh at that place when going up that way!
I guess it all depends on how integral their land is to the plans - not too sure how big the plots they're on or what area of the plans they would occupy. Would be hilarious if we could just build around them both leaving them with just their greed and bitterness to keep them warm.

It's pretty much where the mini stadium is to be built.

Re: City CPO going to Public Enquiry

I have a lot of rag friends and even they think that this **** is a twat.

If this were the other way round I would think that he was a twat. What we're trying to do is invest heavily in some of shittiest pieces of land in Manchester. The impact this will have on the economy is huge. If the rags were doing this then I would honestly support them.

Some things are bigger than football, and at the end of the day, this prick is just an absolute greedy **** of the highest order, who is even trying to fuck rag fans over.

Re: City CPO going to Public Enquiry

Pure bitterness from a typical stubborn red prick who can't come to terms with whats happened to City in the last 3 years. Not even lying if United wanted to buy land off me i'd just sell because i'm not a prick.

I disagree mate, My understanding is City have offered £200k plus relocation fees which is way above market value ..... however, the company is struggling and in debt to the tune of £380k ....... if he accepts the offer, the chances are he will fold ( and if he doesn't its only a matter of time before he folds) ..... he's holding out in an last attempt to save his business ....... he cannot afford to legally fight the CPO so we are still in the "brinkmanship" stage of the negotiations and he's only using the rag connection to gain negative publicity to put pressure City ......... but that's only my opinion.
