City earn £153m in PL prize money for 2021/22 title win

Financials results must be out soon right ? Will make interesting reading with record TV revenue record summer transfer new sponsors and full stadium back
Last years didn't come out until January of this year, it ran up to the year ended 30-06-2021 so this summers business won't be included regardless.

Thought they came out in September and including out goings in summer transfers but not the incoming which went in the following years

Only £1m more than the dippers? We won the fucking league. I suppose their points mean more
There isn't much difference in prize money amongst the big clubs, however you perform.

We got £153m for winning the league with +73 goal difference ... Utd got £143m for being underwhelming & disappointing and having statistically their worst ever PL season (zero goal difference).

In the same vein since the start of last season our goal difference is +90 and United 0.
Does this mean we are better than the rags? Asking for a friend..

Definitely all summer outgoings and incomings all in 22/23 accounts.
Our outgoing player contracts run to 30th June and new players aren't registered until after 1st July.

New players are amortized over life of contract so cost goes at end of the following year

Sorry, but that makes no sense?
Say we sell a player in the summer for 50 million and we buy a player for 50 million on a 5 year deal. The profit or loss on the first player goes into previous season / years accounts the second players costs go into the following years accounts because his cost is amortized / spread over the life of his contract a year at a time so 10 million a year. It cannot go into the previous years accounts because he hasn’t been here a year.

Presuming I'm understanding what you're saying, then you seem to be suggesting that when we sell someone that we can retrospectively alter the previous years books. No.
