I'm not getting the impression at all that we've been overlooked. A few stupid people are blaming it all on Modric, but we are for the most part getting the credit due to us and there's far more talk of the Arse being poor than the rags being great.
The rags beat a team of REAL youths at the end of the day , and they had given up by the time 4 had gone in. Winning 8-2 will always be seen as impressive and presnted as even more than impressive by the media when it is done so by the rags , but what we did yesterday takes impressive to another level . To go to one of the hardest places in europe , and hand out a 5-1 spanking like we did was phenomenal and I doubt it will not be done again for another 20 years at least. There is a big difference between home and away these days , and a mauling away from home will always be more impressive than a mauling on home turf , simple as that. Away , everything is against you , the crowd especially , and to over come that and score 5 goals is unheard of really . At home , you have the crowd behind you and just that general feeling of superiority , especially for the rags , so winning there comes nowhere close to our accomplishment yesterday
Of course the media are going to be all over the hammering Arsenal got..because they are Arsenal. But on a pretty important and relevant note.

Scoring five times as many goals as the opposition away from home is a far big story than scoring four times as many at home.

Yeah, woke up this morning to find out that the boring game I had turned off had stolen the headlines. And how about bagging 2 more when you're up by 4, opponent is down a man, and there's @ 10min. left?
