City FA Youth Cup winners 2019/20!!!

Alpha was a prized signature when we won the race a few years ago,and its clear why that was the case.To put in such an assured and committed display, while not playing on your natural side, was fantastic.

Why this club cant find a quality natural left back is bizarre.
Wow, sorry I thought I just read that LB isn’t his natural position?!

I’ve even more impressed now, this lad has huge ability if that’s the case.

Hopefully he can get the chance to display this for the 1st team in the near future!

Two out of the four Arsenal players are 21, Tomori is 23 in a months time, Mount is 22 in two months time, James is 21 in one months time. Chelsea of course had no choice due to their transfer ban.

Of the named City players Delap is just 17, Rodgers, Braaf, Mcatee, Palmer & Harwood-Bellis are all 18 and Doyle has not long turned 19.

They will all get games at some time but you're not exactly comparing like for like. That said I like the look of our prospects long term more and must put the naysayers complaints to bed.
The labours of the Academy staff seem to be bearing fruit with more and more graduates attaining the standard necessary to step up to first-team level.

Palmer-Delap-Braaf may be the best U18 attacking line in Europe, not just England. They are that talented.

I think every Blue is desperate for Tommy Doyle to make it for all the reasons you listed, but he’s not the only City supporter in the squad. Both THB and Cole Palmer are as well.

Indeed. I guess it is the romanticism due to Pardoe and Doyle, and that I have heard less from Palmer and THB.

Easy mate that is a big statement. But you are correct they are a fine attacking line. Think Barca are playing a 17 and 18 year old in their first team currently. Would be nice to see Braaf and Palmer more this year.
