City FA Youth Cup winners 2019/20!!!

I think every Blue is desperate for Tommy Doyle to make it for all the reasons you listed, but he’s not the only City supporter in the squad. Both THB and Cole Palmer are as well.

Apologies Vienna. I found out the other day that my rag colleague who is very good mates with Cole has been winding me up about who he supports. He definitely is a Rag fan.

Still a shit hot footballer though.

He's over the moon with yesterday's win.

It's interesting but I'd assume that a young player that has been at a club for as long Palmer has been at City would eventually support that club. Carragher supported Everton in his youth, Kane with Arsenal and they've only ever been at one club.

Easy mate that is a big statement. But you are correct they are a fine attacking line. Think Barca are playing a 17 and 18 year old in their first team currently. Would be nice to see Braaf and Palmer more this year.

They are, and also struggling badly, I doubt if our fanbase would be happy with that.
When they are ready, they should play. Foden, has led the way, it has taken him 2/3 years to get to the desired level.
The kids show promise, now dedication and desire will get them to the next level.

I really rate Hodge on last nights performance and he really is a workaholic.Would love to see him make it as I would/will for any of the youngsters.
I'd never really seen Joe Hodge until Friday, and immediately thought he'd be a weak link just because of his size, after watching him play twice now, I think he's a great little prospect, such a worker, and clever, seems to read the game well and is always in the right position. He doesn't have a glamorous role, but he makes it look effortless.

From the 2 games, for all the flair we have on show, he impressed me the most.

Has a bit of Kante about him.

No I agree they probably wouldn’t, but just highlighting its tough to say there the best when two young kids are already playing against the likes of Juventus/Real Madrid in la liga and in the Champs lge.

I think Foden was there a while ago, not a regular but ready to contribute as highlighted by his winner against Spurs, prior to his 19th birthday. I would hope the young lads get a bit of game time this season, have a preseason next year with the first team and then reevaluate the situation.

Thanks for that. I am surprised that they bothered .
They all wish we did not exist.
How very dissapointing BTs Matt Smith with the bog standard with the money they have spent on youth.Makes you wonder if we ever fielded a 1st team made up mostly of academy graduates what they would come out with.

Fati and Pedri are born 2002, same as Palmer and Braaf. Fati is certainly better than our lads right now, don't think so about Pedri and not sure Barca have a CF of Delap's quality in their academy.

Barca are crap for their standards though. That they play some youngsters now doesn't mean that all of them are future world beaters. Pep could also start games with Palmer and Delap and go 5 games without a league win like Barca.
