City fans arrested after Sunderland game :(

..... if someone nicked your PC would you be saying "that's life, it happens" or would you be down in off-topic ranting about it?

Probably not - they wouldn't have anything to log in with ;-)

Just an update, the four lads are scheduled to appear before the ICC in The Hague on Monday morning.
Still not funny, keep trying though
Not trying to be funny, just trying to make the point that some on this thread are blowing this out of all proportion by talking of bans. The way some comments have come across is that is that if you've ever been arrested or haven't been to university you're not welcome at City. Which is bollocks in my book.

If life bans were given to those found guilty then it would make others think twice wouldnt it?? This would work imo, the ban would be lifted a couple of years later anyway

To be honest I thought some of the lads in the beer tent nearly got arrested before the match, loads of police were circling the tent when some of the supporters were throwing seats and beer bottles about (albit plastic ones)
We were stood on the grass bank when one of the coppers called the extra police in, it was just a bunch of lads getting a bit carried away, but you know what happens, the police ring fence you and don't let you go to the ground. It seem to carry on into the ground the throwing of the plastic bottles and beer, not sure why, it seem to happen each time they were singing 'we're going to win the lge' didn't see any after the game, wounder why:(

How is borrowing someone's season ticket, with their permission, the same as walking into a shop and taking something without paying for it...?

You're clearly living on the Costa Del Crime for a reason...;- )

Yes there is less crime there all in Manchester we on the Costa Blanca are like you fukin perfect

You didn't answer my question...which sort of answers the question.

Send me your address though - since you're such a tolerant soul, if I'm ever stuck for a few quid, I'll pop over and rob your place.

Fuck me i was just going to send you my address because i thought you were such an honest type of chap to see if you wanted a free holiday.
But now i know your a thief you can fuck off

Thinking back to the first post I made on this thread...it's all escalated a little bit!

My original point was not even about what the lads did, which was probably down to plain stupidity and "gang mentality" as much as criminality...but that the reaction of some posters is just "well hey, that's life,no one's arsed,we've all done stuff like that...so what."

The interesting thing about those reactions is that they just don't seem to acknowledge that there is an inoocent victim in all this-the person in the shop simply trying to get through the day without having his stock robbed by a group of pissheads.

That's the thing that I find odd.
It can't be argued away or defended because of the fact that "we're all City fans."

Nothing to do with handing out bans, hanging, flogging or whatever...just the apparent lack of any sort of responsibility or compassion towards someone going lawfully about their daily business...."collateral damage" to "a bit of laugh innit."

Strange.
