City Fans Leaving Early/Empty seats

I'm getting really fucked off with all this shit about empty seats, it's just the only thing left that we can be criticised about. Last week I tried to pick up a couple of extra tickets for my eight year old nephew and much to my surprise I was infored that I couldn't get two together for any day time league games. Due to my nephews age a late night mid week game is out of the question, so this got me thinking. A lot of season ticket holders with kids might not go for this same reason, or like my parents who are both season ticket holders in their eighties feel the cold at night are not in the best of health and feel vulnerable may choose not to go.

One of the biggest differences between us and the vermin is that we tend to have fans who simply go to the game having one or two sherbets before, during and after the game, wheres a large portion of scum fans make a trip out of it, taking in shit tours and stopping in hotels in Manchester . That cost some serious brass and its not beyond the realms of possibilities that it plays a role in fans attending the games. We don't have a mass of Irish fans who come over the water, or a big southern contingent who can boost the numbers and simply have to make the numbers up out of our limited but loyal following. I wouldn't give a fuck if I was sat with twenty people watching the game because those twenty would be a dam sight more loyal, humble and dare I say local than them glory hunting self entitled cnuts.
Same with the candle lighters pal the amount of Norwegians/scandanavions that come over is ridiculous

I attend every game I can. But midweek home games are now impossible to travel to due to the M5/M6 roadworks and rush hour traffic around Birmingham - regularly 3 hours to get there + 2.5 to 5 hours to get back. I'll re-evaluate in March 2019 when the M6 Smart Motorway conversion is complete.

45 minutes to get through J18/19 of the M6.
M5 Junction 1/2 closed and also J 7/8 so had to get around using A roads - 4.5 hours to get home which used to be a 3 hour journey. Absolutely crazy roadworks so i know exactly what you mean!

I'd possibly train it but the last one back is 10pm! So it's impossible.

It’s a matter of personal choice I suppose. You pay your money, leave when you like.
I travel from Cornwall and don’t leave until after the players leave the pitch.
Each to their own. Question is, how many goals have the early leavers missed? I would be gutted.

The thing that gets me is, if the tickets were priced at say 50 quid yesterday, you'd get all these plastics on twitter spouting "City ruining football." Yet, when they are reasonably priced, you get "lol lol Emptyhad, small club."

Literally, the mental age of the gormless drones that support some football clubs must be about -4.

Somebody needs to look at Barcelona’s attendances before slagging City off. 90000 for Real Madrid, 56000 for Betis (1st home game), 51000 for Eibar, 53000 for Deportivo and 48000 for Sporting in the CL. Average gate is 62000 so almost 30000 empty seats, on average, every home game. It affects everybody one way or another.
Still don’t hold with early leavers unless there is an extraordinary amount of stoppage time, but that’s just me.

I’m currrently paying £299 and like my seat.

My ticket prices went up and I moved.

You should have done the same as I currently have the best value in the country watching football.
^^^^ Me too.. I do get frustrated with getting out of 315 as we are near the back but for £299 it's an absolute no brainer....

I was tempted to try and move further down the same stand but I can't justify the difference. I could pay it but why would I?

I've been in Munich all week and two colleagues who are Bayern fans were gobsmacked about my season ticket price... one, who I never realised was so bitter was slagging us to fuck... saying we are nowhere near the top of the rich list, our owner would leave us in massive debt, he didn't have a good word to say.... I put it down to jealousy... I had to change the subject to Brexit for an easier ride FFS
