Sold tickets
best ask the rag PR department.Just out of curiosity, are attendances these days calculated on how many have come through the turnstiles and actually at the game or how many tickets have been sold??
Same way every club do it, tickets sold. Even in the old pay at the turnstiles days all season ticket holders were probably counted, I'd assume so anyway.Just out of curiosity, are attendances these days calculated on how many have come through the turnstiles and actually at the game or how many tickets have been sold??
I hear you... the slow walk down the steps at 87+.... I've seen a couple of late goals on those steps... I love the view from RR where we are but I do think every time I descend the steps that the view improves drastically toward the bottom... it's a tough call however to justify the price difference as I have mentioned as I see exactly the same game as the posh seats for a price that makes me smile every game!
I think I will continue to annoy the masses who criticise the early exodus and keep the bragging rights on my Seasoncard bill
100% spot on.I’m 53 years old and I’ve attended almost 1400 matches. However, night games have become a complete pain in the arse, and I don’t blame anybody for leaving early/not bothering.
Firstly, since the increase in capacity, there hasn’t been a single improvement in travel conditions. Subsequently, I’ve either got to find a window in the A6 traffic (post rush hour-pre match) or gamble that the motorway won’t be horrific at Bredbury.
City have a huge following from the South Stockport/Peak District area, but a 50 minute journey from Whaley Bridge is occasionally taking closer to 90 (an absolute nightmare if you haven’t finished work till 6pm) and it’s getting worse.
Parking is a joke, and that’s with me being one of the lucky ones, who thanks to working in Stockport, has a slight time advantage. It’s then a 20 minute walk to the ground, past overzealous traffic wardens.
The football is glorious, but the journey is becoming the main part of the experience. The only alternative is the train, which means getting home after midnight.
We can moan and moan about the Tram, but until there's a proper link to Stockport or Bredbury, we won't see a proper difference
That’s why people leave early, because frankly, once the result is determined, they just want to get home.
SozWhich is why I despised my seat in the third tier of East stand
People who did the slow walk down the aisle and blocking my view of the game
Sergio's debut vs Swansea. I didn't see his 25 yard goal because of people stood up in the aisle
