These agencies all advertise away tickets they don't actually have. If they sell them, they then try sourcing them. Sometimes they're successful (whether that's through individuals, corporates, players, staff or the club itself), other times they're not and the customer is left high and dry.

Viagogo can advertise themselves however they want. They're not based in the UK for the very reason that they're practices break numerous laws/regulations.

I don’t know how, maybe we should open up some talk with a United Supporters Club or something, but United fans have somehow stopped United giving away tickets away to anyone but United fans who meet the right criteria as they were getting sick of it themselves, it would be good to find out how they did it.

They definitely still allocate away tickets to their corporate clients. They're not all guaranteed to get one as they have to apply via a ballot, but 10% of the allocation is set aside for corporates.

You make a request at the start of the season for the away's you plan on attending.It's not carte blanche that all will be fulfilled but most are and for the more in demand games previous purchase and spend criteria may come into play.

The ticket allocation I mentioned was for our own hospitality season card members who follow a different criteria.Its true of course that corporate sell on a one game basis to all and sundry.
