City Fans Leaving Early/Empty seats

I see the same people leave every game as the clock ticks over to 80 minutes regardless of score or importance of the match.
Yesterday the queue back down the aisle was blocking the view of play for those above row U

What can be done?

You totally missed the points I made as to why they do. " Never used to happen in the kippax!" As I said people and in particular football fans have changed massively since those days. Also it DID happen in the kippax it just wasn't as noticeable when it was standing.
You are correct football fans have changed but there is still no excuse for not staying until the final whistle, where are they going and why?
Do they get brownie points off the wife/husband for getting home 10 minutes earlier? as you say they have changed and it's not for the better either
Regarding the Kippax, i was a Kippax regular but when i used to go with my uncle it was in the Maine stand and i could never see the Kippax thin out noticeably but supposed some did leave early to get first orders in the Albert and the Clarence lol

I thought yesterday was fine overall, full bearing a few in the FS and corporate sections, good day all round.

We've not half picked up some shit, half arsed fans since we got good.
Tell me about it, we were talking to some in the Northern Quarter after the game, they didn't have a clue about the team of even 10 years ago and these guys and girls were in their 30s

just stay till the fucking whistle blows!
Perhaps all the gates should be locked until the final whistle - that would fix the problem.

I wonder what time these two left?

City didn't bother with a full strength team to start with, and both sides had made 3 subs to save players for future games. The team is the manager's choice, to watch is the fans choice, plus it was a nice day the the Grand National at 5.15pm which was more important to a lot of people than watching an uninspiring game peter out.

I think certain things can be done by the manager.
Games like yesterday where it was over, Guardiola and the team knew it over, so why wouldn't the fans leave. The last 15 minutes was simply going through the motions.
What is the point in bringing non Fernando and Nolito.
Put some young lads on, get some excitement going in the crowd.

Putting Fernando & Nolito on is the equivalent of after eights in the curry house, you know the night is all over.
Put Garcia and say Sancho or Foden on and it's like bringing the shots over.

I remember being at the Watford game in December and sitting next to a couple who shot off ten minutes before half time and then his missus dragged him off again fifteen minutes before the final whistle.

Got home and saw that BluemoonrisingTV had uploaded an interview with him giving his views on the game (as well as her just staring vacantly into the distance). I don't know how anyone who misses nearly a third of the match thinks they've got anything worth saying. But then I suppose it's their opportunity to get on camera.
