City Fans Leaving Early/Empty seats

Sometimes I stay until the end, sometimes I go on 90 mins and sometimes I leave on 85 mins if it's a night game and my lad is at school the following day. Yesterday I stayed until the end and it took me 2 hours to get back to Derbyshire, if I get a good run and leave at 90 mins I can be home in just over an hour. The club, Manchester City Council and GM transport have to do something about getting away from the stadium or things will not change. If I don't have anything on I don't mind sitting in traffic but doubling my journey time home and also being sat in traffic on the way to the game too, is not my idea of fun. I expect to get pelted for such comments but this is a problem that isn't getting any better and if we expand further, will get worse.

I take it you left early

It was a subtle dig at those that don't bother going having a go a real fans. At least you can have a plaque in a local pub 500 miles away to pretend to be fans.

I suppose you will be buying Boro tickets in the morning? As if.

Yup, you definately left early

Yup, you definately left early

What time did you leave? Bearing in mind I watched the Grand National in a pub around a furlong away from my SS entrance which started 25 mins after the game in the end, what sense would that make?

Hypercritical trolling is the norm these days though.

I'm sure Bluekiwi (the other poster you quoted) wishes as I do that I could afford the time and the money to fly back to Blitey more often.

City should put a tiny sensor on the underside of every seat.

For every City fan who stays stood up in-front of their seat at the final whistle, which is picked up by the sensor, they should get 5 extra loyalty points per home match. :-)

If you have anymore stupid ideas to try and make City fans stay until the final whistle, please post them in here, or forward your ideas on to the 'make City fans stay until the final whistle department' at the Emptyhad.

The Rags have started the emptihad bollocks and there little ditty about 30,000 empty seats , and the rest of the country believe it , if we had 10,000 locked outside for home games and supporters staying until midnight the same shite would still be quoted and written , its the swamp lie machine in full swing to try and prevent our progress , nothing more nothing less. Maybe the media should look at grounds like Sunderland and Newcastle who are notorious for having an early dart but are never mentioned , The Rags fear us and so they should we have been the biggest threat to their 30 year dominance of the Premier league and we are on their door step , with everything in place to dominate football . Can't wait for the next item from the swamp lie machine which the media will regurgitate .project fear is alive and well at Old Toilet.
